The seed for this dream was planted years ago, inspired by my mom. Her love for knitting filled our home—and eventually, boxes in the garage—with beautiful handmade items. She poured so much of herself into each creation, yet despite her incredible talent, she often struggled to find people to share her ideas with, let alone a platform to showcase her work. Like so many crafters, she faced challenges sourcing supplies and dreamed of earning a little extra income doing what she loved most.
My mom’s resilience and creativity taught me the value of family, love, and the importance of supporting one another. Her passion for her craft sparked something deep within me—a recognition of the incredible, untapped potential of makers everywhere. As I looked around, I realized how many creators like her existed, each with unique stories and skills, all yearning for a way to share their crafts and connect with a like-minded community.

Teaching myself how to build a website was an uphill climb, full of trial and error, long nights, and countless cups of coffee. There were moments of doubt when the task felt overwhelming, and I questioned if I could truly bring my vision to life. Financial struggles added another layer of difficulty, as I juggled resources and found creative ways to make progress on a shoestring budget.
